cURL Editor

About cURL Editor

Parse a cURL command into its parts — method, URL, query parameters, headers and body — edit them visually, and generate a clean cURL command again.

The parser understands bash, PowerShell and Windows cmd syntax, including line continuations (bash backslash, PowerShell backtick and cmd ^), single, double and $'...' quoting, multiple -d flags, --data-urlencode, -u basic auth, -A user agent and -b cookies.

How to use

  1. Paste a cURL command — for example from Chrome DevTools' "Copy as cURL" or API documentation.
  2. Review and edit the parsed method, URL, query parameters, headers and body.
  3. Copy the regenerated cURL command.

FAQ

How do I copy a request as cURL from the browser?

Open DevTools, go to the Network tab, right-click a request and choose "Copy" → "Copy as cURL". Both the bash and cmd variants can be pasted here.

What happens with multiple -d flags?

They are joined with &, just like curl does: -d a=1 -d b=2 sends a=1&b=2. A request with a body defaults to POST unless -X says otherwise.

Is -F (multipart form) supported?

Not yet. File uploads and multipart form fields are ignored.
